. here's a look from genevieve shaw brown. she hit the mat with some of these kids. >> reporter: some say yoga is the fastest growing sport in the nation, with an estimated 20 million people practicing regularly. the latest trend is an ever growing number are pint-sized. there are yoga classes for infants up to teenagers. there are even classes for toddlers like my daughter. >> you're still going to see the foundations of yoga, so there's going to be an awareness of movement and anatomy and breath. there's such a tremendous amount of creativity and there's inner play between the children and teacher. >> reporter: i'm here with a group of 6 to 9-year-olds who are showing me a little bit what a kid's yoga class is like. >> one leg comes up, the other. >> it's going to be a little sillier, more playful. kids are stressed. with social pressures and pressures in school. >> it clears your mind of things that really bothers you. >> i don't have to worry about all my problems. >> reporter: parents should look for a registered children's yoga instructor. a good start is the yoga alliance website.

in western new york, it was a brown ground last christmas. so certainly all the snow we've seen in the great lakes will certainly allow for a white christmas and great skiing. all the ski resorts in vermont and new hampshire down to snowshoe, west virginia, picking up a foot and a half to see two feet to the west. upper midwest. so a white christmas meteorologically means that there's an inch of snow on the ground on christmas morning. it doesn't have to be falling. there just has to be an inch of snow on the ground. we're looking at christmas and also the days up to it and a little after it if you're traveling. a few interesting things happening. the west san francisco area has been ensconced in rain and clouds and travel trbs. tomorrow they get into it again. by monday, the west coast clears out, but here's what we're watching for the tuesday to thursday time period. so christmas and then traveling after that. watch what happens here in the southeast. an area of low pressure develops on tuesday. so it may not be a white christmas in the southeast, in places like new orleans, birmingham, li
yesterday and. analysts say scott brown a republican is likely to run. he lost his seat two elizabeth warren. there is no clear front runner for democrats but several house representatives expected to bid. >> a ban on a count verse a therapy designed to make gay teens straight has been blocked. it was supposed to be outlawed on january 1st but an appeals court in san francisco temporarily blocked it. they said it should get a full hearing. supporters say it helps patients have normal lives while others say it's dangerous. >> deputies believe a woman and her ex-boyfriend hid his father's body for two years to keep receiving pension benefits. the body was found on december 2nd in the backyard of an apartment complex. deputies arrested the son and his ex-girlfriend earlier this week but they have been released. the da hasn't filed charges. >>> a man accused of assaulting his patients and preforming illegal procedures has been ordered to stand trial. the 49-year-old carlos guzman garza didn't have a medical license. some of his patients also say they were sexually assaulted. he faces up to 30
